With the outbreak of COVID-19 across the globe, it can easily be said that it was hard to be prepared for a period like we are in right now. Many small businesses are closed that are non-essential, many have moved to work from home, unemployment has gone up. I don't have to go into the details because everyone reading this has witnessed and experienced the effects of this pandemic.

But I want to take a moment and share with you what I have witnessed at Blessings4Ever Home Care Agency over the last month. With little warning we moved our operation to work from home and communicated to all our employees and clients that we would now be working remotely. We made the adjustments necessary and kept things moving. From the start, we knew that our clients and caregivers are always our top priority. It's in our culture and it's who we are. Our teams started early and finished late.

We made phone calls, spoke hope to our caregivers and clients, and assured them that we were all in this as a family...and we continue to do that on a daily basis. We've been brought closer to our clients than ever before. All of what we do is based on relationship. It's not just a business transaction; it's active involvement in the life of another person so that they can receive quality care that their overall quality of life increases. We are dealing with real people. We have the opportunity to wake up every day and decide to bless them.

That's our vision and our mission. It always has been and it always will be.

Everyone has worked hard. Our aides and clients made adjustments that needed to be made as well, and we are so thankful for their cooperation and their help during this time. Our clients and aides have made this transition smooth and easy and have been such a blessing to us as much as we have tried to be a blessing to them.

If there is anything that this pandemic has taught us, it is that when you're a family, you stick up for one another, you fight for one another, and you do whatever you can to protect your other family members. This is a time to truly discover what being part of the Blessings Family is all about.
